Collectibility and Rare Varieties

The William Howard Taft Presidential $1 Coins are generally common due to their high mintage numbers. However, uncirculated specimens and those in pristine condition may command a premium. As with all modern coins, errors such as off-center strikes or double dies can significantly increase the coin’s value. The value of these coins may also increase over time as they become less common in circulation due to the suspension of the Presidential $1 Coin Program for circulation in 2011.

2013-P 35,140,000 minted; common
